The school will provide home learning opportunities, appropriate for the age and stage of pupils that challenge and consolidate learning, deepen understanding and prepare pupils very well for work to come as recommended by Ofsted.

The broader evidence suggests that regular and short, focused tasks that relate directly to the year group skills and outcomes, are likely to be more effective than daily or weekly homework sheets. We recommend about 10 minutes a day.
