The Bungalow
We have an excellent before and after school club, which is located in the school's Bungalow. It is run by school staff, which ensures continuity in the excellent standards we have in school.
Opening Times
Breakfast Club: 7.45am – 8.45am
Breakfast club is open from 7.45am – 8.45am. You can drop children off any time during these times. All children will be escorted to their designated lines in the playground.
Costs: Breakfast Session – £4.00
Breakfast Club has a fixed cost which includes breakfast. The cost is the same whatever time you arrive.
After School Club: 3.15pm – 5.45pm
After school club is open every day. Children are collected from a designated area and accompanied to the bungalow by staff.
There are 2 sessions a day
Session 1: 3.15 pm - 4.30 pm
Session 2: 4.30 pm - 5.45 pm
After School Club – £5.00 for each session
If your child attends an extra-curricular activity after school e.g. football Singing Squad, we have to charge £1.00 holding fee for that session, as this means we can guarantee a space for your child.
If you choose to collect your child early we will have to charge the full amount for the time booked, as this space could have been allocated to a different child.
Booking and Payments
Bookings and payments are made through Parent Pay. Please note that if you need to use after school club until 5.45 you will need to book session 1 AND session 2. Please note that bookings are subject to space and are on a first come first serve basis.
Please note if you need to cancel a session please give us 24 hrs notice, otherwise you will still be charged for the session. Debt; in the event that you build up a debt for we will consult with you to rectify this. If this fails to be achieved, we reserve the right to exclude your child from attending the After School Club. For persistent debtors we also reserve the right to exclude your child from attending once the bill has been paid.
Welfare and Discipline:
Parental Support is key to behavioural standards. We expect that you will support and encourage the aims of the team and ensure that your children are encouraged to display the expected behaviours, punctuality, politeness, co-operation and engagement with staff and pupils.
Parents and guardians who have registered their children accept that the school and staff have the authority to take reasonable action to safeguard the welfare of all children and staff while at Breakfast and After School Club, and to follow the Yearsley Grove behaviour guidelines.
Removal from Breakfast and After School Club; in the event that your child’s behaviour does not meet the standards required for attendance, then we will consult with you to rectify this. If this fails to be achievable, we reserve the right to exclude your child from attending the After School Club
